Hey marzullo …..i love your videos and how presise they are but what im
asking is …i have been looking for some great videos about how to become
better at drawing poses. Like when im gona practise am i just supost to
draw poses or what backround do i need to become better . and what worked
for you …..when you were starting did you practise with reference or
without it and what helped you to stop using reference and started to be
able to draw what you imagine what you want on the paper ? did you read any
book about anatomy and what is the backround knowledge .

@ 4:17

That term is called “counterposing” Rob.
Anyway, I’m glad you came back with more sketching material! I’ve been a
fan since I’ve seen the Perspective & Female anatomy tutorials.

tablet or a mouse?

At 5:28 looks like a Angel’s wing (at least to me – and with the posture of
man, can be added the wings too -), this gives me a good lesson.
Thanks for share your knowledges.

Hey Robert,

Awesome video as always. You’ve improved a great deal since I started
following your channel.

If I’m not mistaken, you were referring to “contrapposto” when you were
talking about as one arm is punching, the opposite leg goes back, etc.

It basically means “counterpose” in Italian. It helps describe the
principles of balance and weight distribution in motion, as well as
standing still.

It’s very important in constructing believable figures and highly recommend
studying up on it

freezenlight says:

those sketches are absolutely amazing, to be able to create such detailed
sketches in such a short period of time, especially from the imagination is
such an amazing thing.
Do you have any tips on practice techniques on how you were get to this
level.

Amazing video

Hey I’m new to drawing and art only been doing it for a month now and
you’re an awesome artist and I was wondering if you could make a tutorial
on the human body shape?

E1ectricOrange says:

Love these videos, I’m hoping to get enough practice in drawing so I can
start my comic book.

I have a question, I have a Bamboo Splash tablet I bought a couple years
ago. Would you recommend a better tablet that’s more customizable?
